Maryland Rail Commuter (MARC) runs between Union Station in DC and Camden Yard in Baltimore. Tickets may be purchased with cash or check (with photo I.D. and current address imprinted on the check) at any ticket office. One-way and two-trip tickets may be purchased on trains when no ticket agent is available. Cash and personal checks will be accepted. No credit cards are accepted. Tickets purchased on trains will be subject to fare penalties if the ticket office was open at the time. (There is no ticket office in Riverdale Park, so you only need to worry about that if you are coming here from somewhere else!) For fare and schedule information, call MARC Information 1-800-325-RAIL.
Trains to Washington stop at Riverdale Park at 6:01 am, 7:08 am, 7:35 am, 9:03 am, 6:02 pm, 6:38 pm, and 7:17 pm. The ride to Union Station takes approximately 10 minutes. Trains to Baltimore stop at Riverdale Park at 6:52 am, 7:17 am, 4:49 pm, 5:28 pm, 6:50 pm, 7:25 pm, and 8:05 pm. Bring a book; it takes about 55 minutes to get to Baltimore's Camden Yards. These schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check the detailed MARC train schedules and other information available at the official MARC site.
