Before her marriage in 1952, Mrs. Goolsby was a practical nurse at the old Casualty Hospital on Capitol Hill. A resident of the town since 1952, Mrs. Goolsby was featured in the "Recognizing Riverdalians" series in the May 1992 issue of The TownCrier. Mr. David Wakefield of 47th Avenue died in late April. Mr. Wakefield served as councilmember of Ward Three from 1973 to 1977. Our condolences are extended to his wife, Marilyn, and his daughter and two sons.
