Town Clock Back on Line |
|||
|
The town clock went out of service in March and, when the New Jersey repairman (trained in Verdin clocks) checked it out, he found the problem was a frozen gear box. The box was sent to the Verdin factory in late April and the repaired box received in early May. The clock is now back on line--showing the correct time and chiming the quarter hours. Thanks to the many residents who asked about the clock--it has become a part of our daily routine and we will enjoy having it back.
