Following is a summary of council actions taken at the November 6 regular legislative and the November 13 special legislative sessions. Absences, abstentions and opposing votes are noted. Regular Legislative Session November 6, 2000 (CM Gross absent) 1. Approved installation of Stop sign at 48th Avenue and Tuckerman Street (Ward 1). 2. Approved closure of Lafayette Avenue and Rittenhouse Street from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 11. 3. Approved 57th Avenue improvements not to exceed $20,000 (Ward 6). 4. Introduced resolution to establish a Board of Trustees as required for the Employee Defined Benefit Plan. Special Legislative Session November 13, 2000 1. Approved resolution requiring that all future street improvement projects include installation of sidewalks on at least one side of the street.
